Japanese Teriyaki Chicken Skewers Recipe

– Bamboo skewers 

Teriyaki Sauce: 

– 1/4 cup sake 

– 1/4 cup mirin 

– 1/4 cup Japanese soy sauce 

– 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions: 

1. Marinate the Chicken:

– Combine the chicken thigh fillets with 1/3 cup of teriyaki sauce in a bowl. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour (or up to 24 hours) to infuse the flavors. 

2. Prepare the Skewers:

– If using wood skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill. 

– Thread the marinated chicken pieces and leek onto the skewers. You can also add other vegetables or ingredients of your choice. 

3. Grill the Skewers:
